Abha Bhán Parish Park, Loughill
An awarding-winning Community Playground & Park which caters for all ages and abilities. It is purpose built to be fully wheelchair accessible and boasts a 40x20m floodlit astro pitch & outer walking/ running tarmac path. There are plenty of seated areas on the 2.5 acre site. It is surrounded by natural trees, shrubs and wild flower meadow making the park biodiversity compliant. There is a carpark integrated into the overall site with 20 plus parking spaces.

Adare Heritage Centre is an excellent base for the visitor to experience its unique history & enjoy an exciting range of facilities. Askeaton Contemporary Arts
Since 2006, Askeaton Contemporary Arts commission produce and exhibit contemporary art in the locale of a small town in County Limerick, Ireland. ‘Welcome to the Neighbourhood’ is an artist residency programme that situates Irish and international artists in the midst of Askeaton each summer, while thematic exhibitions, publications and events often occur at the same time.

Fáilte, hello and welcome to the beautiful town of Askeaton, one of the oldest towns in Ireland and therefore steeped in heritage. Ballysteen Tidy Village Association
Beagh Castle is a 13th Century ruin set in spectacular surroundings on the Shannon Estuary. To the west of this is Ballysteen Pier, a picnic hideaway in the centre of the village. There is also St. Patricks Church built in 1861, the newly renovated Carnegie Library and the Community and Heritage Centre. We also have Beagh Cemetery & church ruins and further afield, the delightful Ballynacourty Gardens.

Féile Laindeir, Askeaton
‘Feile Laindeir’ is a lantern festival held in Askeaton every Autumn. Local artists from the Deel Arts group take to the River Deel with the rowing club & display their hand made willow lanterns on the water. Taking advantage of the calm tidal waters, they create a mind-blowing show of light & reflections. With enchanting music, the sparkling floatilla of small boats make their way from bridge to bridge in the heart of the town. Local children and adults carry brightly decorated lanterns to complement the water show.
